LVMH Fragrance Brands, the perfume brand division of French luxury goods group LVMH, appointed Yann Musquin as general manager effective August 3.

Yann Musquin will succeed Romain Spitzer, who has joined Bottega Veneta, a luxury brand owned by Kering Group, as CEO.

After taking up the new job, Yann Musquin will formulate the overall strategic direction for the department, focusing on launching new product lines on the two major perfumes and beauty tracks, expanding the brand matrix, and enhancing the appeal of LVMH Fragrance Brands brands, namely Givenchy Parfums and Kenzo Parfums.

In his new role, he reports to Véronique Courtois, chairman and CEO of LVMH's beauty division, who is also president and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior.

Yann Musquin graduated from HEC Paris and has 22 years of experience in brand management in the field of luxury beauty. He started his career with L'Oréal in 2004 and moved to Dior's Perfume and Beauty Company four years later; in 2013, he became the global marketing director of perfumes, leading the research and development of Sauvage perfumes, while promoting the market expansion of Miss Dior and La Collection Privée Christian Dior.

In 2021, he joined Louis Vuitton as director of perfume and beauty. During his tenure, he promoted the rapid growth of the brand fragrance business and launched the first launch of the Louis Vuitton cosmetics line. At the end of 2024, he was transferred to Givenchy as the director of Givenchy's perfumes and beauty brand.

Santa Maria Novella Ludivine Pont, CEO of Italian century-old perfume brand Santa Maria Novella (Officina Profumo-Farmpharmaceuticals di Santa Maria Novella), has resigned.

The brand has not yet finalized a successor, but Ludivine Pont's job responsibilities are currently shared among the directors.

Ludivine Pont will take up his current position in 2025, previously working for Balenciaga, and will serve as the brand's chief marketing officer from 2021. Previously, he served as global marketing communications director for Moncler, and earlier served as director of marketing and public relations at German luxury brand PHILIPP PLEIN.

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) appointed Isaac Sinclair as Senior Perfumer.

After taking up his new duties, Isaac Sinclair will join IFF's creative center in Neuis-Susseine, France.

Isaac Sinclair is most recently employed at Symrise, based in France, where he works for agnès b., Brands such as Abel and Neandertal Perfumes develop fragrances.

Isaac Sinclair was born on the rugged coast of the North Island of New Zealand. He first studied fragrance in Grasse, France, and then went to the Università dell 'Immagine in Milan, Italy. During his studies, he studied with several prestigious seniors in the industry, including Françoise Marin and Bernard Ellena.
