As all best friends do, Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey went for a matching footwear moment while in attendance at the premiere of “Everest: The Other Side” on Sept. 5 in Telluride, Colo. The documentary follows elite mountaineers Jim Morrison and Hilaree Nelson as they try to climb and ski the direct north face of Mount Everest.

King and Winfrey’s twin moment consisted of calf-length tan suede booties, the style comparable to silhouettes from Frye. King’s pair were a cowboy style with angular pointed toes and a lighter suede finish that transitioned into short block heels. Winfrey’s boots were a darker tan suede with rounded elongated toes and short block heels.
