Macy’s Raises 2026 Guidance as Sales Grow Across All Retail Brands

THE DETAILS Group net sales increased 1.1 percent to US$4.9 billion, while comparable sales at Macy’s rose 1.1 percent and its Reimagine 200 stores delivered 1.9 percent growth. Bloomingdale’s was the strongest performer, with comparable sales up 11.3 percent and record second-quarter sales, while Bluemercury increased comparable sales by 6.2 percent. GAAP net income almost doubled to US$169 million from US$87 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased to US$457 million. Macy’s also reported US$116 million in tariff refunds, with US$96 million being reinvested into its Bold New Chapter strategy and long-term growth initiatives.
